Discovered in 1966 this 205m sinkhole has a 10m diameter circular entrance. The sinkhole was descended in the 60’s using metal ladders with a lateral cable across its diameter. This sinkhole contains the longest single shaft located in Lebanon measuring 160m. At the bottom of this shaft lies approximately 6m of perennial snow.
